I was introduced to the Cox Racing screen in 2006 through a mutual racing mechanic/friend. I gave it a trial run on a 2007 ZX-6R; shortly thereafter, I outfitted the Cox Screen onto my personal 2008 Honda CBR1000RR Repsol (which saw Indy track time), followed by a quick install on a Ducati 1198s and will soon add to a 2013 BMW HP4. Why Cox Racing screen?, as an MSF instructor, sport bike trainer, and avid track rider clocking in at least 13k miles over the summer months, I've grown to depend on this much needed insurance plan also known as the Cox Racing screen. I can attest to many countless strikes to the grill over the last 5 years and am always amazed on how this screen stays intact saving me thousands in repairs. The ZX-6R is my most abused bike. It is strictly set up for track and range training and is outfitted with a full titanium Akrapovic exhaust system, high cap radiator and oil cooler; in short, five grand in front end parts alone which are all exposed to the elements at low to extremely high speeds. I can not afford to lose any of these vital components to foreign object damage (i.e. pebbles, rocks, rubber slivers, other riders parts, flying bolts, debris, locust, bees, tar, speedy dry, you name it). Cox Racing screen works again and again keeping my money maker running without worries from time lost on the track. I'm a retired aircraft master technician in electrical engineering. I know the machining business and I can spot a cheap trick part. Your screen is clearly not that; instead, it's a high end design using quality materials, coupled that with superior fitment regardless of make or model. For a minute there, I was convienced my luck had ran out with the Ducati install job simply because Ducatis just plain super tight and very crowded bikes to work on. I was pleasantly surprised on how quickly it took to install including a much needed coffee break (30 minutes max). Andrew, you're product is worth every penny--period. Thank you and your team for sharing your talents in building such a wonderful product.

The radiator core was showing a few small dings after a comparatively short distance and not wishing to hole it miles from anywhere; a guard was purchased from Cox Racing Products. Beautifully manufactured, only took a few minutes to fit and the communications and service from Andrew Cox in Portland OR, and to New Zealand was outstanding.

A wheel weight or a bolt. When you examine it closely there’s a deep rectangular dent and then a longer, shallower trough perpendicular to it. Whatever it was, if I hadn’t been running the guard it would have ended my ride.

I got my Cox Racing Guards yesterday. I removed the R&Gs that I had installed and put these in their place. I thought I'd give a candid review of them both Here are the key points from my comparison:
-Cox Racing Guards are lighter
-They are anodized instead of powder coated
-The design of the grill of Andrew's (Cox Racing) guard actually has a tilt to it
-The radiator guard "fits" the bike better than the R&G
-Install was pretty simple
-Workmanship is outstanding. Fit and finish don't get any better!
-Did I mention you can get Red, Blue, Gold, Titanium, Silver, Black or even KTM orange!

Awesome product! I received it today and installed in less than 15mins. It took me more time to take off the sticky back on the foam padding than installing the guard itself.

These radiator guards are excellent quality the reason behind me saying this is that I've been certified in all my metals to be able to weld on turbine combustion engines and as I see the quality metal that they use I'm very happy to say that the metal that they are using is of the highest quality. I suggest anybody that has a chance to purchase one of these radiator guards for their motorcycle it's a very good investment and I would suggest you taking the time to purchase the radiator guard if you happen to have some cash on hand. Don't take the chance like I did and learn the hard way; install one of these on your motorcycle before it is too late.

I recently bought one of your radiator guards for my 09 ZX-10 and couldn’t be happier. Installation was easy even with all fairings on. I also like the look and it hasn’t had any effect on the operating temperature. This is an excellent piece of hardware, well made with quality materials.
